I believe that every one should be able to celebrate the start of their married life together, in a way that is meaningful to them, using the words of their choosing, in the manner of their choosing and in the place of their choosing (as long as they have permission from the landlord.)
I love creating relaxed and playful ceremonies. My ceremonies have a spot (or a lot) of theatre in them.
Every ceremony I write and deliver is written in collaboration using your story, ideas and voice. Readings, songs, flash mobs and dogs all welcomed! It can be drafted and tweaked as much as needed so it is "just right." You may have a really clear vision on what you want your ceremony to sound and feel like, you may also need some support. My role as your celebrant is to offer suggestions and advice to help you create a ceremony that feels authentic and honest to you as a couple.

The Process
Let's Chat
It's important that I am a good fit for your vision for your celebration. We can talk over the phone, video call or meet in person- the choice is yours.
Book me
If you decide to go ahead, I'll send you a booking form which will be our agreement in writing. A non refundable deposit will be required at this point to secure the date.
If your venue is more than 20 miles away from Rugby, we can discuss travel costs.
Planning
I can provide plenty of hints, tips and advice to support you. From suggestions for readings, ring exchange words to those all important vows. I'm also up for new challenges and suggestions- if there is something you have seen or important to you and your heritage. I would love to hear about it.
Writing
Three months ahead of your wedding, I'll get back in contact to begin preparations in earnest. To help me shape your ceremony, I'll send you a questionnaire to gather information on the ceremony itself, but the majority of the time will be spent on you. Your story, your vision for your ceremony and your reasons for your very special day.
Rehearse
A rehearsal is optional. You may want to meet to run through the technical parts of the big day. Not every venue can accommodate this but we can meet so you can relax and enjoy your big day, knowing what to expect from the ceremony.
Your Wedding
I'll arrive in plenty of time to make sure your ceremony runs smoothly. I'll check in with all the key staff at the venue, photographer, musicians and readers. I'll be the friendly face ready to reassure you, calm any nerves and finally deliver the beautiful, bespoke ceremony for you and all your loved ones.
